Our spa service is proud to carry Eminence Organic Skin Care! Their unique products are all organic and handmade in Hungary. Since 1958, Eminence has been producing quality skincare to treat all skin types and conditions. Endorsed by celebrities, such as Sarah Michelle Gellar and prominently touted at the 2007 Oscars, Eminence is the new face of beauty! In addition to their impressive clientele list, long history in skin care, and approval of skin care specialists everywhere, Eminence is lauded for their “green factor”. When was the last time you heard of a skin care company promoting sustainable farming practices, growing all of their ingredients organically, and refusing to add harsh chemical fillers? Where it starts....

After their all-organically grown ingredients are harvested, they are stored for 4 months so that any remaining bacteria will die. When this is accomplished, water from a very unique lake is added to them. Lake Hajduszoboszlo is a thermal hot spring lake that contains many minerals and rare trace elements. It is also set apart by its high pH of 9.5, which has proved soothing to dry skin. Every batch of product is handmade without ever undergoing any heating or hydrogenating processes! Eminence relies solely on natural active ingredients, such as: Hungarian paprika, wild plum, and apricot make. The only preservatives included are what you would find in your kitchen cabinet: soy and lemon juice!

Gone Green

Do your skin care products help battle global warming? Eminence does! Their ingredient farm is completely powered by a combination of solar and wind energy, and their lab via geothermal heating! Eminence utilizes safe farming practices in an effort to cut down on their carbon foot-print and preserve endangered plant species. They use only natural compost, no chemical pesticides, and no harvesting or planting machinery.

Eminence is committed to the earth’s preservation and to your skin!  Their boxes consist of 30% post consumer recycled material, their wooden boxes consist of 50% post-consumer recycled material, and their retail stands are made from a renewable resource. Plastic containers consist of recycled, non-toxic plastic and are recyclable. Eminence is also exploring completely biodegradable packaging made from PLA (polylactic acid), which is a polymer derived from corn. Even their packing chips are made from corn, and dissolve completely under running water!
